Sounds to me like Golden Boy is just ripping off The Bobfather's idea of putting boxing matches on Versus.

If Golden Boy is truly serious about putting boxing on regular TV and not just interested in making money, they would put their series on network TV either on Saturday morings or on prime time during the weekdays. Don't count on that happening though.

i think golden boy has taken a lot of steps in the right direction to help clean up boxing, and i think they'll do great things in the years to come. golden boy has the right minds and enough behind them to make some real changes for the better.

Golden Boy is ripping off Bob Arum by stealing his idea of promoting their fighters on a seperate cable network like what Arum does with Versus you schmuck.

And putting boxing on cable isn't gonna do all that much good. We already have boxing on many cable networks. Now if Golden Boy was serious about promoting their product they'd put it on regular free TV.
