Klits are overrated, here is my take...

Ok, I made this post in another thread, but thought it was worth a thread.

The Klits are a hypedob, a PR machine. They might me really good, but we have no evidence of that yet.

I'm genuinely do not understand all the Klit praise.

    Wlad.

Has never fought anyone decent EVER. He has been beaten by some terrible fighters, and 10 years ago he wouldn't even be a top 5 heavy.

Most recent evidence: Embarrasing display towards the end of the 3rd round against Rahman.

    Vitali

Only fought one decent fighter ever. A shot Lewis, and he still got TKO'd.

Neither of these guys have doen ANYTHING to back up the praise they get. Big deal, they dominate the Heavies right now. One of my mates who is TERRIBLE and fat is ranked in the top 50 heavies, and I reckon I could beat him even!!

Most recent evidence: Won a world title.........of one of the worst Champions (any weight) in history.

The division is wank, and the Klits have NOTHING on their resumes.

Hypejob Klits, only get coverage cos they are tall, white, European, and brothers. It's the quirkiness factor which makes them stars. Someone tell me who either of them have beat that justifies their reputation...

You're a complete and total idiot

The Klitschko Brothers are completely dominating the heavyweight division.

Now Bow Down and show some respect!

Haye hasn't beaten anybody worth a damn. He never even fought the best cruiserweights.

Can you debate your point, are are you going to leave it at that?

You will grow up one day.

I love how people act like they are being open minded, when in reality they have already made up their mind.. and aren't the least bit interested in open debate on the subject..

I agree, Haye hasn't done jack **** in the heavies yet. Everyone knows that though, so it's not much of an incite really.

Thanks for debating the topic content.

Hypocracy in the purest of form.

Well, he makes some good points, but Naps is basically pointing out the obvious. The Klits are the best of a very bad bunch. Heavyweight dominance in this watered down era means very little.

Personally I see Vitali as the far superior fighter who could contend in any era, but his greatness is in question because he has no opposition to really push him. Wladdy on the other hand looks like the kind of guy who would get crushed in a better era of heavyweights. The guy couldn't go 6 rounds with some of the best contenders of the 90's IMO.

I agree 100%. It's just a shame that it needs pointing out on a forum of boxing "fans".
