Veterans? Are you just referring to de la Hoya and Hopkins who lost when Roach was training them. Hopkins would have lost to Calzaghe with any other trainer, maybe worse. Hopkins just can't match Calzaghe's workrate. De la Hoya was dominating the first half of the fight until he abandoned the jab and let Floyd catch up. Don't blame Roach for their losses.

Roach was training de la Hoya for the Mayweather fight and left Vasquez to Justin Fortune because he was in Puerto Rico with Oscar. For that, it is erroneous to say that he trained Vasquez when Israel lost to Gonzales.

No, I was referring to his abandoning of Vasquez, saying he was finished after the one Marquez loss and refusing to train him for a pointless rematch wherein he would surely just take a beating with his "deteriorating" skills.

Donaire should take this chances because he is in need of a new trainer to guide him to fame..

and Roach is the best option right now, Donaire will be more sharp and more explosive if ever He will accept the offer of Roach.

Brian Villoria is another fighter that Roach left behind.

I DON'T THINK PACQUIAO LEARN IT BY ITSELF.
