A rematch? Are you kidding me and yourself?
Oscar wasnt even competitive in the fight, looked like a human punching bag and he quit like a puto, he doesnt deserve a rematch.....

If Manny fights him again, i know a lot of people will lose respect for him...

pacquiao beats de la hoya 10 times out of ten prime for prime and non of y'all haters can proove otherwise cuz PAC demolished a oscar that was supremely confident of the win. Y'all haters can't even judge and see the real reason Oscar lost which is so evident if you just watch it again. Manny neutralized Oscar and has improves speedwise and fights well going back. Never got stuck againts the ropes etc, etc. Y'all keep a blind eye to the shock y'all experienced. It was not only De La Hoya's ego that was deflated that night and you will find evidence of that right here in this forum. At least de la hoya don't make no excuses.

Please, I'll use your own argument against you : you can't prove Manny would beat a prime DLH 10 times out of 10 times. You know what ? Freddie Roach said himself that Pacquiao wouldn't beat a prime DLH. Why did he want Pacman to fight him ? Because he knew he did'nt have it anymore and that the weight would hurt him. It's a good win for Pacman, but it isn't like he beat a DLH on a good night. Most people thought it was a mismatch because they just didn't realize DLH isn't the fighter he used to be. He wasn't even 50 % of what he showed against Mayweather. You can be sure that if that DLH showed up, Pacman wouldn't have lasted more than 3 rounds. Pacman fought a shell, and it was easy to see it coming. DLH looked terrible against Forbes.

De la hoya won via wide ud againts forbes and was praised by news articles for technical superiority. Even a quicker Andre berto had problems with forbes.

I have more proof than anyone that says otherwise. Not even roach thought this fight would be a demolition. Pacquiao demolished hoya every minute of every round. Pac put an ass whoopin on de la hoya and made him quit. Hoya said he never felt better and even if he didn't, every second of every round an ass whoopin. Even chavez won some rounds againts dlh. PaC was just that good. Even Ali put up a better struggle holmes. I got video evidence. What you got but speculation.

if it was margarito of course the fight would be more competitive, DLH wouldn't kill himself making weight b4 the fight....

I know, as I said, it wasn't about money for Oscar, but Jesus Christ, I don't feel ONE BIT sorry for him. It's the fight game and on any given night, well, we saw. Oscar should hang them up, I didn't want to see him in this fight and I CERTAINLY don't wanna see him after this. GG Oscar.

Oscar put on 2lbs overnight, lets be reasonable here please. How in the world could Oscar only put on 2lbs at 147? Manny actually weighed more than Oscar on fight night. Oscar didnt have his footwork and didn't use his jab.

Manny gets hit alot, and doesn't pack the most brutal punch. Hes just fast can take a hit and is strong. Oscar as just a broken man on fightnight.

Style wise Oscar wins, he just didn't take advatage of his gifts. Oscar wins this fight atleast 8 times out of 10.
completely agree with both. oscar hadn't fought at 147 since '01. there was a stipulation in the contract that said oscar would have to pay pacman a certain amount of $$$ for every pound he came in over 147, which is why he only put on 2 lbs. overnight..... dlh was absolutely "not right" in the fight. but pacman did a great job too. it was just DLH's greed that did him in, in the end.........

pacman wins this fight everytime, if things stay the same.

DLH does much better if that 147 lb. stipulation is not there.

                  DLH wins at jr. middle.

but i dont give a ****, DLH was greedy, shouldn't have taken the fight in the first place, and only accepted the stipulations b/c he DID underestimate pacman, which was a mistake. f--- it, DLH will end up making 25-30 milli, so the only thing hurt is his pride.

                  pacman-hatton in june.

                  pacman-mayweather sept.-dec.???

As I had said earlier, "Bigger doesn't mean better" and the Pacman proved that. Other boxers will be humbled by the "Pride of the Philippines" JAT
