Agreed. There are too many divisions and too many champs. Fix those two problems and everything else would flow on. You would have more superstars, more demand to see them from the public, improved TV coverage, etc etc.

The real reason is every major fight taking place on pay per view, unlike every other major sport. The super bowl for christ sakes is on free tv. other sports are easier to follow although inferior. all of the other things mentioned are just things people who are already fans dislike

Its crazy - How can you have 5 world champions in one division? Only one guy is the best.

Causuals dont know who is number 1

This is not always true. The PAC-10 used to be the place to be if you wanted to wrestle in college in the west. Nowadays, with the abuse of Title IX, there is technically no more wrestling in the PAC-10. Arizona State wrestling is still around, but they're living off of donations and "bake sales" and are in no way part of ASU Athletic program.

I think it's less racial and more understanding and knowledge of the sport.

I got a little card in the mail announcing the fight.
Yeah, that's a real problem then, that's terrible if that's the case, because they were amazing fights, those are the sort fights which recruits new fans to the sport and brings a lot of old fans back.

Those are the fights that you don't feel ripped off paying to see.
HBO is only interesting in selling DLH ppvs.

                      Showtime

None of this garbage was around when I was a kid, you could just turn on the TV and watch Ali, Hagler ect.........but that is gone and boxing is dead.

remove football, baseball and basketball from TV and see what happens.
