I think he's just preparing himself for war against Margarito.. and Shane does have a long history of being a sturdy guy with a great beard so he has belief in himself that Margo won't be able to wear him down the way he did with Cotto.

He doesnt have the legs or stamina like he had way back in the days to fight Margo in his old style (much like Manny, in and out boxing flurrying, moving away) so he will have to FIGHT.

He wont beat Margo , but its possible that he steal a Pts win by being as fit as he can get and box all night , if Shane fights very smart he could pull the upset .
