Has Shane Already Lost Against Margarito?

Shane said, "I can take more punishment than Cotto".

I just dont like that quote, sounds like he has conditioned himself mentally that he knows he is going to get beat up but can pull it out, thats not the right approach I dont think. Thoughts...

I understand what you mean, but you can't go into a fight with Margarito thinking he not gonna hit you. He throws a lot and keeps moving forward

Lol. I don't like that quote too much either, but it doesn't mean he's lost. He's confident Marg can't just wear him down.

I think that is the right approach, telling himself he can take all Margarito's shots. It might not be true, but that's what he needs to tell himself if he wants any chance.

"Has Shane Already Lost Against Margarito?"

Only if he over trains and has Nacho Beristain in his corner.

You can't count anyone out. Especially when people were mocking Pac for taking the DLH fight. And I was amazed to see so much threads created asking whether Pac even stands a chance with DLH. To be honest, I felt as though I and a handful of people were the only one who were shocked by the complete disrespect shown because of size difference between those two and Pac came out the winner.

I think that quote is nothing more than hinting that Margarite won't be able to hurt Mosley like he did Cotto. After-all, no one look to Mosley's resume and pick out a KO because there are none. His only 5 loses have come to 3 people and they were the result of the judges score cards. I can honestly see Mosley winning this one if he can weasel his way on the outside and box with Margarito. Margarito has an iron chin and Mosley has never been knocked out before so this should make for a very interesting match-up. As we've seen in his latest bout with Ricardo Mayorga, Mosley is just as hungry and I don't think it's a question of heart. Odds are heavily stacked against the outcome of a KO but I have a feeling that will be the case. I'm pulling for Mosley but both have been impressive in their recent past. Even the Cotto loss on Mosley's history showed just how much effort Mosley puts in as he won much of the later rounds by actually being the pressure fighter but I don't think that tactic will work on good with Margarito.
