People need to THINK about it. Lil Wayne getting 1.1 Million people to buy his rap album for TEN dollars was one of the biggest thing in music. Now, if 1.25 Million people decided to pay FIFTY FIVE dollars for a 2 hour long broadcast they can't watch again (unless they also pay for DVR) or technically own, that's saying something about boxing. This comparison shows me that there is still a public demand for boxing, but the average fan won't go digging for fighters to follow, you have to "push" them like a good businessman. De La Hoya is so popular because he got exposure

Quick question: How many US PPV buys does Hatton have without Mayweather?

How is that different than every other big fight?

I doubt that many people were home alone watching DLH-PBF. I saw it at a fight party with 20 people.

How much was Marquez' highest PPV gross without Pacman?

The fight did 50% less than DLH-PBF.

Pretty amazing considering the economy, people boycotting the fight and a large increase in people streaming fights.
