Typical ''Toney'' trash talkin, but hey i don't think he's ever gonna change, and i think nearly every active fighter has had a blunt of his smack talk
Heavyweight James Toney held few words back when expressing his feelings on Oscar De La Hoya eight-round TKO loss to Manny Pacquiao. In the opinion of Toney, De La Hoya has fought for way too long to be picking on smaller guys like Pacquiao, who moved up from lightweight to face De La Hoya at welterweight. He thinks De La Hoya should fight one more time to redeem himself because he can't go out like a sissy and a quitter. [details]
Gotta agree with "Lights Out" here...as much as DLH needs to hang them up...he really can't end his career like this...
Oh yeah Roberto Duran is from Panama...not Mexico...lol...now that was funny...but I do understand what he is saying...in Panama or Mexico or anywhre in the latin countries just aint having that mess...we are MexiCANS not MexiCANT's...DLH should have never quit like that...that was embarrasing...

Like what somebody else said, Durans father is mexican! Which makes him 50% mexican, i belive.
I also dont belive oscar will go out like that. Battered to a pulp aint the way to go out.
So what he's saying is that DLH should come back, shot or not and try to lose either on his feet or on his ass.
better to die on his feet than on his knees....or stool......
it'd been better to have margarito do to him instead of pacman. it was a joke. that fight was really a no-win situation for oscar....even if it had turned out the other way around.
say what you want about toney, not a big fan myself, but he's right.
I love JT but I think these comments are going to come back and bite him in the ass. He is a knock out waiting to happen. I doubt he would quit on his stool though so I guess he's got that.
