Before the weekend in a thread I picked a prime Erik to edge a prime Pac mainly on the back of being able to dictate the fight off his jab.

Given Pac's incredible improvement from a technical sense over the past 2-3 years that argument probably doesn't fly anymore. Pac probably has the edge.

It is still a very close fight though.

Morales beat a Pacquiao who was less proficient with his right hand than he is now. Pacquiao looks better and better by unimaginable leaps every fight, but...

Let's not kid ourselves either. Pacquiao was a really, really good fighter when Morales beat him the first time.

Morales is a beast, and it's certainly not predicated on a single win.

that wasn't pacquiao in his prime... Pacquiao is in his prime now.. That and Eric Morales was starting to fall. So no one ever saw a prime Pacquiao/Morales fight
