    That is maybe slightly harsh.

Not many undefeated, Undisputed World Champions of over a decade can be called "complete and utter garbage".

I agree that he is over-rated, though. Just because he has beaten the likes of Eubank, Mikkel Kessler, Mitchell, Bernard Hopkins, Reid and Roy Jones Jr. does not make him a great fighter.

However, I enjoyed it when he pretty much ended Lacy's career by devastating the guy physically.

I think Hopkins destroying Pavlik told us a lot, by the way.

Anyways, clearly the best SMW of all time. Not really close either.

Great talent, very good accomplishments, slightly disappointing resume. WOuld have liked to have seen him fight the best out there before just the last few years. Still, a great fighter and he seems like a pretty good guy.

LOL, we are talking about Calzaghe right? Yeah, I've seen him fight. Plenty of times.

His last few fights have been ****, then again he is a lot older than De La Hoya, and just look at him.

What? His last few fights? I don't think so. He looked very good against Jones and Kessler. Sure the Hopkins fight was ****e but who doesn't look bad against BHop?

Americans have only seen him fight past his prime!calzaghe can throw 2000 punches a round if he wants to. Nothin left to prove, no wonder hopkins turned him down in 2003.
