Taylor has been beat twice by a similar fighter like Froch, in Pavlik.

What makes you guys think it will be a walk in the park for Taylor? Not to mention Froch fought with a cracked rib against Pascal. I'm sure, if Pascal went to the body more, he could have forced an end to Froch's fight, but Carl brings heart to his fights and would not give Taylor the space.

Froch is a pressure fighter, albeit he has no defense, but if you have ever seen Froch fight, that is his style. If Taylor fights like he did in the second Pavlik fight, i see him winning, but it's not going to be an easier fight as some seem to think. Comparing Lacy to Froch is laughable.

        Tough first defence for Carl.

I was at the fight on Saturday and have to give major props to Pascal. I underestimated him; he was in great shape and showed he does have a good chin as well as plenty of power. I was a bit disapointed in Carl though. Again his defence was poor and he got involved in a war when he didn't need to. That being said I felt he won the fight by 4 or 5 rounds and showed what an exciting fighter he is.

I've always said that I think Taylor takes a ud against Carl and thats the way I still see this fight going. If Carl uses his jab more and tightens up his defence I think his chances increase massively. This fight would be massive in the UK after Carl gained thousands of fans on Saturday night, still I would have liked a slightly easier first defence after such a bruising fight to win the title. Froch doesn''t duck anyone though, so bring Taylor on.

Indeed he will. Taylor won't win.

I agree. I too was there, and it was so frustrating to watch. If Froch doesn't keep the hands up, he will find trouble in Taylor.

If Taylor decides to go after Bute, it looks like Karo Murat is next in line in the rankings. I've seen nothing on him to form an opinion. Anybody know much of Murat?

Froch's hands down style is his style he isnt going to change at 30 something, I think he beats taylor in an even fight by KO late on.

You really are quite simple aren't you? By 'you guys' I presume you mean Brits, but if you'd taken the time to look at who you were quoting you would note that you were quoting a Carl Froch fan, someone who is likely to not be a fan of Calzaghe. Which is besides the point that even if he was a Calzaghe fan, he may never have rated Lacy. Not that your peanut-brain could possibly comprehend anything other than your prejudices.

Naw i think he would destroy both of them cause froch is so hittable like hatton and taylor jab will connect @ will if you watched the pascal fight and his last couple of fights he never puts his hands up and he would get destroy by someone who could put their punches together better because pascal was throwing to sloppy and wide. Didn't have no speed as well....his punches were so slow..Someone like calzaghe taylor or kessler would simply destroy froch....like they say who the *** is froch and yeah bute would get destroy too i mean damn andrade had dude dancing in his cinderalla slippers the last couple of rounds and he would fade then get destroyed by a elite fighter like jermain taylor easy ko for jt....I say froch or bute gets stopped when either one faces taylor..

Listen to you dude you just compared froch to kelly pavlik...you don't even deserve to be destroyed after that one...One has star quality One doesn't, One has brutal power One doesn't One is a american One isn't...So how the **** are they similar? Let me guess your going to compare Gamboa to Juan Diaz or even better yet Manny Pacquiao next huh
