floyd don't get credit for doing anything... cotto beat all floyd's left overs but floyd gets no credit. nothing floyd does will get people to respect him... that's why he's retired and that's why he aint coming back.

Pac is not the same size as Floyd genius, nor has he had several years to adjust to a WW body. Pac could still make 130 if needed, Floyd couldn't if his life depended on it, hell he struggled to make weight against Chavez 7 years ago.

You do know that Duran spent most of his career as a LW?

and floyd spent 70% of his career at 130

Yet he still had the balls to move up to MW and go 15 rounds with arguably the best MW ever, at 32,
he didn't fight hagler for free he fought because he got paid. and he still lost the fight

are you saying floyd was bigger then duran

and then at 38 won a MW title. Please don't compare Duran and Mayweather, I don't see any prime Leonards, Hearns or Haglers on Floyd's resume.
I think you have it backwards don't compare duran to floyd mayweather. duran got a gift against barkley floyd clearly beat oscar and baldomir. so please if you want to go rounds on duran's legacy compared to floyd's lets get iton.

how much did floyd weigh the night of the fight for:

          sharmba-145
          judah- 147
          baldomir- 148
          oscar- 148
          hatton 147

pac vs hoya weighed 148 fight night

who has more credibility in this argument me or you

and pac rehydratred to 144 the night of the david diaz fight

if floyd fought marg and cotto and beat them to a wide decision..and then decided to fight pac do u think that people will give him FULL CREDIT for beating pac, or do u think that they will say "floyd should fight a natural 147lber and not pacquiao because he's too small". honestly..?

Hold on, you seriously think that Mayweather has a greater legacy than Duran? Do you mind if I sig that?

I'm saying that Mayweather was pretty close in size to Duran, but there is a slight difference between WW and MW and certainly between the quality of opposition that Floyd faced at WW and Duran faced at WW and MW.

please sig it.. of course floyd has a greater legacy. I mean how long did it take duran to win 4 world titles. floyd did it by the age of 29

anybody with glasses can see duran was built more like cotto then floyd

are you saying duran's entire legacy is built on beating sugar ray

If Legacy is purely about winning titles, then DLH craps on Floyd's. DLH won his first title quicker, and won more titles in more divisions, plus beat better opposition. FYI Duran>>>>>>>>DLH>>FMJ.
Do you honestly think Cotto could do crap at LW? Ever? Nevermind spending most of his career there.
Not sure what the Sugar Ray comment is about, but Floyd doesn't have any wins that come even close to that one.

I contend he won't get credit sine there is too much bias against him.
Floyd will never get credit for beating Pacman because Floyd would never take a fight with that much risk.
