If Legacy is purely about winning titles, then DLH craps on Floyd's.
no it wouldn't becasue floyd won thre lineal titles and never fought for a minor title like the wbo. how many times did oscar defend his 130 tiutle, what about his 135, 140 titles floyd won 5 titles in 5 weight classes while going undefeated and defeating 4 future hofers in the process did de la hoya do that

DLH won his first title quicker, and won more titles in more divisions, plus beat better opposition. FYI Duran>>>>>>>>DLH>>FMJ.
oscar won wbo titles at 130 and 160 nobody rates those titles especially during that period. wbc, ibf, and wba . and duran never defended any title he won outside of 135, tell me why he couldn't defend any title he won outside of 135

Do you honestly think Cotto could do crap at LW? Ever? Nevermind spending most of his career there.
Not sure what the Sugar Ray comment is about, but Floyd doesn't have any wins that come even close to that one.
floyd beat his prime p4p challenger in diego and stepped up afterwards to defeat the best at 135 and 140. duran got a close win against ray and quit in the rematch I hardly call quitting in your prime in the middle of a fight a great.

floyd has never quit or been made to quit by any man

Floyd will never get credit for beating Pacman because Floyd would never take a fight with that much risk.
has pacqiao ever beaten anyone as dangerous as diego corrales at 130, or jose luis castillo at 135. when pacman steps up and fights the best at the higher weights then you can talk ****. oscar is not the best fighter at 147

pac stepped up from 122 and beat mab at 126... then he stepped up to 130 and beat morales in a trilogy.

mab wasn't undefeated like diego and ranked p4p .. morales beat pac the first time..floyd beat castillo so i know for a fact morales wouldn't last 3 rounds with castillo

Floyd haters won't give Floyd any credit whatsoever WHEN he beats Pac. And yes i said WHEN not if. They'll say Pac is too small and they will discredit Floyds victory. The same ones that will discredit his victory are now saying that Pac is unbeatable and saying he can beat Floyd.

I contend he won't get credit sine there is too much bias against him.
I can't speak for boxingscene or boxing fans/critics/etc. as a whole but I personally would give floyd all the credit in the world for beating pacman...

I personally believe its a fight that needs to happen...

I said this back when they were the top two on the p4p list.

we know 147 isnt a weight class too high for pacman and we definately know pacman is in his prime...

so i'd have to say it would be hard to NOT give floyd all the credit in the world if he beat him.

i KNOW (if this fight happens in 09) that it would be the single biggest fight that could be made. it would do amazing PPV numbers (in my opinion).

see how this thread turned out? the majority saying that he WOULD get credit and the majority of the Floyd stans discrediting fighters like Cotto and Margarito.

                      The hypocrisy is incredible.
