How is Pac supposed to beat a 35yo 5'10" DLH if he barely got by a 35yo 5'7" JMM?

hey you could be right, but so what? If people want to believe pacman can win, or want him to win, so be it. Yeah I understand the odds are against pac, doesn't mean I'm not going to cheer for him. I hope he does knock that ****** out.

People called me ****** for betting on a 43 year old bernard hopkins against a prime 26 year old pavlik. People even said hops would get KO'd. Sometimes in boxing the unexpected occurs. That's what I'll be hoping for.

As I said a minute ago in another thread, boxing has never been about size and never will be.

Let's count the fights when one guy had a serious advantage in height, reach, or whatever, and STILL lost. Damn, I wouldn't even know where to start. Maybe Tyson would be a good start.

Marquez is a better boxer, he can punch well with both hands - and, for 35 he looks a bit better than de la hoya has been (Marquez has only got better, De la Hoya is starting to slide, although not greatly). De la Hoya really only has one good hand, his left. De la Hoya has always struggled against southpaws. Recently, Steve Forbes who is 5'7 went 12 with De la Hoya.

Last but not least, Stamina - Marquez has excellent stamina, De la Hoya does not and never has.
