if you had told me one year ago that a 5''6 (then) 130 lb manny pacquiao would fight the 5''10 1/2 (then) 154 lb oscar de la hoya at welterweight and make him quit on his stool after winnign every round (i initially thought the corner stopped it without asking oscar but as i read all the post fight articles i realised nacho and joel asked oscar if he wanted to continue before throwing the towel in) in dec. 2008 i would have laughed, seriously, at the absurdity of the matchup and the notion of the iron chinned oscar being stopped by manny....
