Who punches harder..Antonio Margarito or Miguel Cotto

That has more to do with Tony's ability to take punches. We all know how hard Cintron punches and he ate those too. Using Margarito as a gauge for how hard someone punches is not accurate haha. The guy's chin is as good as I've ever seen.

i cudnt agree more...i thnk d only way we can tell for sure who hits harder is wen a fighter hu has fought both cotto and margarito tells us..other than that u cant rly say for sure hu hits harder..cottos punches are faster and crispier dow..hope judah or quintana fyts margo sooon so well know

I would have to agree. If you count the number of big punches Margarito landed on Cotto all night it would be around half a dozen or so. Nearly every powerpunch Cotto hit Margarito with had bad intentions behind it and almost always landed flush.

If Tony had the same handspeed and accuracy of Cotto he would have won in a round or two to be honest.
