If the champion can make three times as much money fighting in Germany than US then it's pretty bloody ignorant to expect him to travel to America. And a bit rich given that very few Yanks ever fight abroad, often for that very reason.
Sergei Dzinziruk Turns Down a Paul Williams Fight

Dzinziruk likely got a ridiculosly small offer.
I expect that Williams have to travel to Germany if he wants to fight for the belt. Either that or keep feasting on secondraters.Comment

Wheter or not the fight WILL happen in 2009 will likely NOT come down to WBO. When was the last time they forced a mandatory on any of their champions? At least I cannot remember, but perhaps they have changed their policies?
I'll still be very dissapointed if the fight doesnt come off since Dzinziruk targeted Williams. He doesnt look good in this mess so far.Comment

what a *****!!!!!!!!!!!1A few days ago, WBO junior middleweight champion Sergei Dzinziruk appeared on the internet and issued a challenge to the newly crowned interim-champion Paul Williams. Early tonight, an irate George Peterson, manager and trainer of Williams, contacted BoxingScene.com to voice his displeasure over Dzinziruk turning down a fight with Williams. [details]Comment

hahahahahahahah funny as **** lol karma coming ur wayvery shocking and dissappointing,.. I've been saying that Dzinziruk was the real deal, capable of outclassing Paul,.. Paul has fought his last several fights for peanuts($250,0000 or less),.. he would have fought Sergi for a bag of chips and a redbull,.. no wonder many Euro fighters get branded as cowardsComment
