One thing is for sure, PW's people opening up their **** holes when negotiations barely started will not help get the fight done.

I have no doubt that Sergei is asking for a few million. Whether or not he deserves it really doesn't matter because no network is going to pay it. There is no network that is going to even pay him a million. To them he is worthless name. Case in point, HBO willing to pay Taylor a ton more to fight Jeff Lacy instead of Carl Froch.

The purse bid will show how much this fight is worth. Unfortunately, it will not get to that point for several months. Pwill needs to let that cut heal, especially since he has been cut bad in 3 of his last 5 fights. I think Sergei just made his mandatory defense, so he has an optional one if he chooses. It will be interesting to see if Pwill accepts the purse bid since the numbers would favor Sergei heavily. If he picks up the WBO belt, then he will not be ranked by anyone else and it would make it harder for him to get a fight with the other champs.
