So, for ****s & giggles, sometime late next year, who wins this epic battle?

    *Note*
-They said Hopkins could easily make 160 and Mayweather could easily fight a few pounds heavier then he did against de la hoya.

-This is for ****s & giggles ONLY, I don't need 50 replies saying why this fight would never happen. Just IF it were to happen, who would win and how

Two of my favorite current fighters going at it. 24/7 would be GREAT the confrence would be GREAT Roger Mayweather is gonna talk that mean **** and B-Hop like alwayz is gonna hit em back.

As for the fight. B-Hop would win a U.D. It would be epic

To me floyds defense is overrated. He has good defense, but its not because he blocks punches. Its because he runs away. He is fast and he just hits and runs. Hopkins actually BLOCKS punches and nobody gets that many solid hits on him in a fight. Hopkins in one of the best defensive counter punches in the past 20 yrs. Cant say the same with Floyd
i disagree with most you posted...hve you seen floyd pinned in the corner???you still cant hit him..his defense overrated???more like underated..hopkins is great no doubt and he's to big for floyd..but to say floyds defense is overated is blasphemy

On this board there are a lot of Floyd nutt huggers who claim that he is the best defensive fighter of all time. Thats why i see him overrated.

Floyd can win only if Hopkins is overconfident and comes straight at him and Floyd manages to box in the pocket, where he can take away Bhop's power and make his defensive-offensive reflexes work.

But Hopkins is too smart to let that happen, and surely will start to buckle him around the ring being the much bigger man.

The other scenario is this becomes the biggest chess match of all times, both stay outside, Floyd dodging more than Hopkins but Hopkins landing the bigger shots. In every cases i would say 70% Hopkins wins this...but this fight aint gonna happen anyway.

mayweather would beat him to the punch and most definently win a close UD, If not SD. Hopkins would end up being more of a pressure fighter than mayweather and get caught walking in to left hooks, jabs the lot.

so floyd has to fight a middleweight to lose lol.

if b hop does what he did in the calzaghe fight then floyd, but if he fights like he did against kelly then i think bernard could win by k.o or ud.

                      Hopkins wins rather easily.
