Everyone and their mama knew winky wright vs hopkins was going to be a boring defensive fight and it still did ~400,000 ppv buys. Mayweather is the biggest name in the sport, love it or not, next to oscar. He got a lot of press when he retired. When/if he comes back, it's going to be all over the news and that alone will generate a ton of interest.

Floyd walks around at less than 157 pounds and Hopkins is fighting at 175. If you didnt want responses talking about how this fight would never happen, you probably should have created a matchup that actully could happen and is reasonable.

I didn't conceive the idea, The Ring Magazine did.

i could see floyd beating hopkins by ud, no doubt. oscar was beating hopkins when they fought. floyd has better defense, and moves much better. ****, floyd is small compared to b-hop, but imo, overall better skilled and faster, floyd can beat hopkins. and for all you saying floyd would get knocked out, seeing how he's only been knocked down once by judah, and it was a flash knockdown, how can you claim hopkins would ko floyd. hopkins is crafty as hell, but floyd is well, floyd. he is the more skilled fighter overall.

Floyd is not better overall in skill. They are both gym ****, but Hopkins to me is the better overall skill fighter. He fought a better resume with better fighters and never ducked no body. To me floyds defense is overrated. He has good defense, but its not because he blocks punches. Its because he runs away. He is fast and he just hits and runs. Hopkins actually BLOCKS punches and nobody gets that many solid hits on him in a fight. Hopkins in one of the best defensive counter punches in the past 20 yrs. Cant say the same with Floyd

                      Hopkins, quite possibly by knockout.
