Vargas is close, not sure. Time will tell depending on how good Kessler gets. Right now though Oscar's win over Vargas is better than any victory Joe has ever achieved.Comment

Dude why are you always so angry? Why can't you just point out where they are incorrect and hold back on the personal insults? It would boost the credibility of your posts if you turned down the aggression a little.Comment

De La Hoya had a very long, accomplished career before he even made it to Welterweight. The guy had a ton of outstanding wins there, over champions like Jorge Paez, John Molina, Ruelas, Hernandez, Leija, Chavez, MA Gonzalez. some of these guys were past their best, most noticably Chavez, but these were damn good wins. people give Mayweather a huge amount of credit for his win over Genaro(as they should) when De La Hoya beat a few years earlier, and people give Tsyzu a lot of credit for his win over Gonzalez when De La Hoya beat him first.
Oscar has had his share of controversial fights/losses when he fought his hardest opponents, but that kind of makes since, doesnt it?
people usually discount Oscar's win over Mayorga, but hes probebly about as good as Calzaghe's win over Lacy. Mayorga was actually the #1 in a division at one time, and was a belt holder when De La Hoya beat him.
I think its pretty clear that De La Hoya is much better legacy wise.Comment

why do calzaghe fans try to alter reallity to make him seem better than he really is. u can hug calzaghes' nuts all u want but REAL BOXING FANS know the truth, Calzaghes' a good fighter but he's NOT GREAT.Comment

crold should be a little ashamed honestly.....his personal bias got the better of him.....i like calz more than hoya on a current boxing status(since hoya is not a serious boxer anymore), but his legacy is not even close to Hoya's.....Comment
