this is a fight i would very much like to see. Corrales would carry his punching power up to 140, but his misfortune in facing Tszyu would be that he's actually fighting a junior middleweight on fight night ( i've heard Tszyu's actual weight on fight night is north of 154 ). If Chico could use his height effectively all night, he has a shot at beating Tszyu, the problem is, if Tszyu gets inside, and he will, he's just too good at cutting offf the ring, he'll KTFO Chico

Agreed. Because, Corrales doesn't always start so good and he seems to have some real mental lapses. More important though, Kostya is the definition of a pressure fighter and I don't see Corrales staying on the outside and/or effectively countering the advancing Russian.

Tszyu fought Hurtado at 158, and Santos at above 150. They are the only two weights I know of on fight night.

I think that alot of people are underestimating Chico. We have to remember, the last really hard puncher Tsyzu fought was Vince Phillips & he got KO'ed. You can argue Zab but he's a sharp puncher. Tsyzu's used to being the bigger man, & with Chico you have a guy that can jab in his face all night & throw a devastating left hook with hard right hands of his own. Chico comes in weighing at around the 147 lbs range so I wouldn't see that as a huge factor. PBF proved the way to beat Chico is with speed. Freitas had a good gameplan till he Chico walked him down & KO'ed him. This would be a tough match for both fighters. Tsyzu has a tendency to freeze when hit with big punches. We saw do that against Phillips, Leija, Mitchell I&II, & even Zab.

All the fighters who have tried to come up against KT all had gameplans going into the fight but those plans went out the window when they felt the power of Tszyu. I think as soon as the first exchange happens, Corrales' will forget about any gameplan and attack KT because he's a deadset warrior. Unfortuneately for him, KT is too, with more power and deadly accuracy, he would annhialate Chico.

his body would be a huge target for such an accurate ASSASSIN like Tszyu. Chico has a good jab, but this is Kostya Tszyu we are talking about, I like Chico too, but your boy would get murdalized.

The thing with Tszyu is that he learns quick & adapts. If Chico went on a jab fest, KT would eventually time the right hand back.
