chico has only just moved up fomr superfeatherwieght, Kostya ius a big light welter who will probably go up to welter in under a year or so. Power diff would be immense and without any warm up or settling at Lightweight first?

Wouldnt be competetive for the above reasons at present.

Kostya Would KO Deiago in less than 6 rounds. Good fight but after watching Kostra destroy Mitchell, he is unstoppable.

I usually go for the underdog but on this one I'll go for the favorite...Tszyu by KO, at this momment his simply stronger & better than chico, but maybe in 2 years a lot of things will change ..

This is a major mismatch, Corrales is exciting but in this one he has absolutely no chance. If Diego is afraid to fight JL Castillo (which I believe to be the case) then this matchup is nothing more than a pipe dream.

I can't imagine that Corrales is actually afraid of Castillo.
I'm not saying Chico would win, but why would he fear a guy who'd be there to hit ? He should fear Floyd M-type of fighters before someone like Castillo.

You might be right Jab but it appears from what I have heard is that Diego priced himself out of the fight. My number 1 reason for saying he is afraid is because when I watched him on with Brian Kenny after his win over Freitas, Kenny asked him who he wanted, he named a bunch of guys, it was almost like Castillo wasn't even an option and in my mind if you want to be the man at 135 you must defeat JL Castillo. Diego talked about Floyd knowing full well that this fight will never happen again, plus he wants no part of Floyd but it made him sound tough. When asked about Castillo by Kenny he seemed very hohum. Granted it is a style fight that suits him well as opposed to a guy like Floyd, but if this fight does happen both guys will have to go thru hell to win...maybe Diego is not willing to go thru hell.
