Personaly I think it should come from the organizations who sanctioned the fights. Goes towards moral integrity. Then again, we are talking about the WBA and WBC here.

Nearly everyone uses the "I didn't know what I was taking" excuse.

Who flies across the state to inject themselves in the stomach with legal supplements?

Since Mosley has a reputation as a nice guy, people want to believe he's telling the truth. I don't believe it one bit, good guy or not.

Hell, people have told me that Luis Resto is a nice guy. He committed one the worst acts of cheating ever, numerous times.

Athletes with their "I thought it was legal" excuses ranks somewhere along Eddie Murphy's "I was just giving that ****** hooker a ride home" excuse and Mike Tyson's "Holyfield's ear is like that from a punch" claim.

Supposedly Mosley passed a lie dector test that "proved" he unknowingly took the drugs. He thought it was just some performance enhancing stuff that was legal. Supposedly they even called some of the boxing orginizations to see if it was on the banned list, which it wasn't at the time. This is what I heard about 14 months ago when it came up again. You can go find the articles, im too lazy to re-find it. I don't think Shane would willingly cheat, but you make guys make your own decisions...

Mosley is a cheater and don't kid yourself. He's a professional athlete superfocused on his weight so of course he knew what he took. Ask yourself if he would expose himself to unknowingly take a drug that might increase his weight. Obviously he wouldn't.

But he's likely just one out of a majority of topfighters who took EPO and today takes the new wonderdrug CERA (3. generation EPO).

That's mainly because was a better fighter 3 years earlier, and DLH fought a smarter bout in the rematch.

Yeah, Mosely used to be one of my favorite boxers until I heard about that. I was really disappointed. Just like baseball or any other sport when I hear an athlete used steroids or something else illegal I pretend they don't exist anymore.

As a fan I disowned Vargas too.

But in light of Shanes testimony I feel that no way should he be allowed to keep the victory. Whether he knowingly cheated or not is irrelevant. He still cheated.
                    I was wondering about that.

Will it be declared a no contest? What about Mosley's upcoming fight with Margarito, will that still be on?

Doesn't matter if he willingly cheated or not. It was still an illegal advantage and should be changed to a NC.

And as much as I've always admired the way Shane has carried himself........passing a lie detector doesn't mean ****. That is why their results mean nothing in a court of law.
