    Mosley Testimony Released

A U.S. District Court judge has unsealed thousands of previously court-protected documents from the BALCO drug case including former world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley's 2003 grand jury testimony. According to the New York Daily News, Mosley testified that he injected himself with the performance enhancing substance EPO before his second fight with Oscar De La Hoya, who ironically is now his business partner. Mosley is scheduled to challenge WBA welterweight champion Antonio Margarito on January 24th.

So he knowingly took performance enhancing drugs, this really doesn't help his legacy.

Isn't this basically the same news that was told about 14 months ago.

Mosley: I "unknowingly" injected myself with illegal performance enhancing drugs.

lol yeah he claimed he thought they were "vitamins" um.. sure. I dont understand why he doesnt get more **** from fans. Yes he's soft spoken and *****whipped but he's still a fraud and a cheat and is undeserving of the titles he won in that controversial rematch against dlh.

No it doesn't. But what Im curious about is, should or will the WBC and WBA declare the second Oscar fight a NC? I've always felt Oscar won that fight. But in light of Shanes testimony I feel that no way should he be allowed to keep the victory. Whether he knowingly cheated or not is irrelevant. He still cheated.

I haven't given Shane credit for that win ever since last year when he admitted to "unknowingly" using steroids and EPO.

I've said since then, that it should be a no-contest.

The difference between Mosley and someone like James Toney is that Mosley went to a place where the drugs were supposed to be undetectable, while the genius Toney used Deca, which stays in your system for awhile.

I doubt it, it's been a few years now but it should be changed to a NC. I always thought DLH won that fight as well.

Agreed. I also find it insincere when he says he didn't know he was taking steriods. If you have to hide it, you can be pretty sure it isn't legal. Its hard to believe even the ******est (something Shane isn't) world class athlete wouldn't be able to figure that out.
