What it would do is it would knock Pacman from the #1 spot and put someone else up. Hatton wouldn't take over #1 though, he'd need more quality wins. He has quality wins in his career, but none recently.

I m a Hatton fan being from Manchester n all but would anyone seriously consider Hatton P4P#1 if he fights and beats Manny?? We keep hearing him say he will become the best P4P fighter in the world if he beats Manny, he said it a few times before the Mayweather fight as well.....

I personally dont think he will be P4P#1 and i think he sounds a little ****** making that claim. But imagine if he did beat Pac and then was jumping up and down screaming "i m P4P#1" and then next day he looks at the updated lists and he is #6! Poor Ricky! I hope he is talking like that to hype the fight and no cause he actually believes it....

if calzaghe is #1 what are his biggest wins? eubank , jones and hopkins?

fact is......if pac beats delahoya and hatton beats him...... can anyone top a W over kostya and pacquiao?

beating kostya and pacquiao , those 2 fights alone , is better than anything calzaghe has ever done.

pac and jmm are natural featherweights who were good enough to win belts at 135 one division down from ricky's division.

what's the difference between that and hopkins beating natural welterweights at 160? not much. hopkins became #1 p4p didn't he?

hatton beating kostya and pacquiao is the equivalent of tarver beating roy jones AND hopkins beating trinidad.
