No, I understand why he got the fight. It's good money, and he's Shane Mosley...that's a big name. Plus, however much he's aged he's still got something left in the tank.

I just seems to me like he got the number 3 ranking just because he's fighting the number 1, and that doesn't make it right to me. I mean should Michael Jennings get the number 4 spot because he landed a fight with the number 2?

He lost his last fight at 147 and than went up in weight...how does he come back to 147 and automatically hop Clottey who just won a title in his last fight.

I honestly thought him and Clottey were gonna end up fighting. Or even Quintana. Anyway, I don't understand how the ranking system works so I guess you could be right.

Kinda what I think and am getting at.

PW may not officially be at WW right now but he fought at WW twice in 08. He lost a UD, then avenged over that top 5 guy by KO. He can't get a rematch with the top guy he previously beat, yet Cotto can when he lost?

Mosley fought once at WW, and lost. And he's #3 at WW.

        Just seems un balanced.

No I meant he just lost at WW, by UD.

His win by KO, was not at welter though.

I seriously doubt Mosley messes it up! Especially if the same Shane Mosley that fought Mayorga shows up. Now i expect a much better effort from Mosley but i just dont see him having the stamina to deal with the nonstop assault that margarito will send his way!

How is ricky hatton higher than Paul Williams on the p4p???

And why is Zab judah so high on the welterweight list, it doesn't make sense to me.

Ricky is the champion at 140, has been for four years. He's won world titles in two weight divisions, Paul needs to defeat Sergei to accomplish that. Hatton's beaten many good fighters, Williams only a few.

thats kinda lame the rematch with cotto and margarito being for the ring welterweight championship.. it should be the winner of margarito/cotto 2 vs williams for the ring welterweight belt

He barely suvived Juan Lazcan, was stomped by Floyd Mayweather and beat Paulie who is as feather fisted as they come. Verno Phillips was as solid a champion as Paulie very easily. Hatton's win over Tszyu is further forgotten and is less meaningfull than Williams win over Margarito who is currently number six on that list. My point is not to totally discredit Ricky because I really like the guy but I think Williams' resume, at this stage, makes a better case than Ricky's.
