Breakdown of how Floyd Ducked Margarito....

At the time he was the man at WW beating Judah. Shane was the one who ducked Mayweather. Clottey was nothing back then, Margarito had WBO title,Comment

Clottey whooped Baldomir for 11 rounds before he was DQ'd for headbutts.
Marg had the WBO title. And??? He's still much better than Baldomir.
So do u still think Baldomir was better than all those guys i mentioned in my last post???Comment

Shane ducked Floyd and vise versa. Floyd: "i dont fight sparring partners" Remember that? That was Floyd's response when a fight with Shane was offered to him.

Clottey was DQ'D for headbutting, pretty much that is called cheating.Comment

and the whole term ducking is so overused in this day and age especially for people who making their living getting beat on.Comment

You're changing your tune now. You originally said that because Baldomir beat Judah for the lineal title, he was better than all the other WW's....Marg, Cotto, Shane, Clottey, etc..... Do u still stand by that? And please dont give me that crap about how holding a title makes u better than everyone else. Any bum can win a title.Comment

Answer this. How do we know for sure that the $8,000,001 Floyd claims he made for fighting Baldomir is accurate? I bring this up in light of all the talk of B.S offers surrounding Floyd/Margo and Williams/Margarito. I can clearly remember an interview that G.Leon from Btalk had with Goosen regarding the Floyd/Baldomir fight, and when the question was asked to Goosen whether Floyd was indeed making $8,000,001 for this fight, Goosen refused to answer it. Instead he said "its not about the money. Its about the pfp#1 fighter in the world taking on the #1 WW in the world" So my question is, how do we know for sure that that offer wasnt just made up to save Floyd face for turning down Margarito? If Arum's offer to Floyd was B.S, how come Floyd or anybody from his camp never went on the record to say so? Im just saying........Last edited by deevel79; 12-03-2008, 11:40 AM.Comment

Ok, so now you're NOT saying he was better than them, but instead was "worth more". So from a fan's standpoint, you rather watch your favorite fighter take on a less threatining opponent for more money, rather than take on someone who's is going to put his skills to the test? So what's your main interest? Watching Floyd make money, or taking on live opponents?
