Why are the standards lower for Williams to be #1?? I just don't get it.
That would make him number if he beats Margarito, are you disagreeing on that. You need to understand the rules and concept of boxing. You beat the man at the division you become the man

I would have to say because Paul has beaten Margarito once already.

You can argue back and forth who is #1. All I know is, Margarito is considered the best, and Williams beat him convincingly. It's obvious the top Welters don't want to fight him. There's a reason for that.

I would love to see the rubber match in fact I think if it went past the first round it would be a close fight.

When has quintana called out Paul? I would like too see the proof because that would be a great rubber mathc. quintana would have to watch out the first 5 rounds and let himself settle in before getting into it too fast with Paul and I see a win by quintana again

Exactly he is too much of a risk. A lot of welters would fight margarito because he isnt that skilled of a fighter and can definitely be beaten.

Paul poses a much greater threat with superior boxing skills a great chin and tough speed to beat

So would I. I have a feeling its bull****. And if anything, Paul didnt take the rematch because he wanted a big money fight with Marg. Which now he will not get. Paul and/or his management needs to make their ****in minds.

If he beats Margarito again, then that makes him better than Margarito, not an entire Division. Unless he beats the other top Welters, which he has failed to do. Even Cotto has more ground to be the best @ WW than PW.

That would make him number WW with ring title, The best WW, You need to understand how rankings work, big time
