I consider Margarito to be the most accomplished Welter out there right now but I am not willing to say he is "the best" until he beats Williams. He may have beaten a string of great names, including Cotto, but he has a loss against another top guy in the division, and IMO you cannot have that hanging out there and be considered the undisputed number 1 guy. There isn't a best WW at the moment I don't think. Those two need to fight to determine who is the top guy.

So your defense with Hopkins beating Calzaghe was the press scores.

Would you disagree with these guys too??

My scorecard is at home right now but I certainly didn't have it 9 to 3 and, from memory I think Margarito definately won more than 3 rounds. I think you need to take your blinkers off sometimes Flaw.

Yes of course I don't. I always said Calzaghe and Hopkins decision could have gone either way 10-2 for Williams is still reasonable

How??? Lets say he beats Margarito again. How does that make him #1 when he's only beaten one top WW(remember 1-1 with Quintana)??? Doesn't he need to fight the other Top Welters LIKE Margarito???

Why are the standards lower for Williams to be #1?? I just don't get it.

I would love to see the rubber match in fact I think if it went past the first round it would be a close fight.

When has quintana called out Paul? I would like too see the proof because that would be a great rubber mathc. quintana would have to watch out the first 5 rounds and let himself settle in before getting into it too fast with Paul and I see a win by quintana again
