Calzaghe and Hatton both have solid resumes and are first ballot Hall of Fame fighters regardless of what some of you haters post, deal with it!

Ricky has won 6 genuine belts in two weight classes and has unified LWW.

Calzaghe has won 3 geniune Belts and Unified SWM.

I hate to see what you class as real fighters...

            Hopkins 43 year old
Jones 40 years of age (2 months away and even more shot than Hopkins)

You can't lose fighting these guys... How much credit can you give him really?

Hatton >> Joe Calzaghe in my opinion already. Tszu was 35, so what? Tszu is still a better win than 43 year old Hopkins or Jones... And Hopkins is the very best Calzaghe has to offer. Some ATG

By any stretch of the imagination, their comparable records at 38-0 simply are light years apart. And you can't seriously sit there and argue that Hatton couldn't have got a fight at a genuine world champion or world level fighter at that point?

Now, if you want to argue that, over the last 3 years, Hatton's competition is stronger than Calzaghe's then make that case. But to argue over their whole careers then that to me is a complete nonsense.

The irony for those of us who have followed Hatton's career from the beginning is that he's been on the slide physically since that Tsyzu fight. He could have achieved so much more if he'd ditched Warren and that coveted WBU belt. I was crying out for him to fight for a proper world title for years before he actually did.
Eubank, Reid, Woodhall, Brewer, Mitchell and Jones all lost in their last meaningful fights before fighting Calzaghe
