The promoters would get most of the money. Long story short, a boxer wont do it. Vitali Klitchko could get millions more promoting his own boxing fight then he would promoting a fight with Fedor, who by the way, isnt a ppv draw.

Only lower paid boxers have participated, guys like Francios Botha and Ray Mercer have gon on to try kick boxing and MMA and they have done terrible.

Its to seperate sports, leave it that way.

I don't know.. to me it's like saying Golf and Hockey Players could comepete with each other because they both swing things..

At the end of the day.. The sports are just different enough.. that whoever rules you go by.. those people will have a huge advantage..

It's 2 different sports. I'm certainly no expert in MMA and doesn't think much of it but I figure that the rules would be the key here. If takedowns is allowed the MMA fighter will win. If it's boxing rules the MMA fighter would be KTFO.

I'm as sure as can be on this!

          What promoters?

Fighters could promote themselves. It's not hard. Ray Leonard basically did it. Sugar Ray Robinson was his own. Tyson could have done it on his own as well when he came out of prison.

And how is it different from Promoters taken their share in boxing?

Or, you can get Mark Cuban to help out....he was trying to get Floyd.

It sells; I'm telling you. It's all about interest and this is a hot topic.

Who would win: Bruce Lee or Tyson...**** like that gets people exciting.

So you are saying the MMA fighter is the better form of fighting?

Original Gracie UFC rules was the stage I set.

Of course it couldn't just be one fight. Best out of 3 would be nice as well as having many more fight to get some type of ratio.

                How?

Didn't you watch street fights as a kid or even now?

                It's the same thing.

Who wears gloves in a "real" fight?

Boxing was invented for combat, not for "sport."

That's what I'm getting at. Which one works on the streets...if there are no guns and knives of course.

Fedor would beat any Heavyweight boxer in history in anything resembling MMA rules

He would kill them on the ground

THe only way this can happen is say Fedor fights a Klitchsko under MMA rules and a month later a return fight under boxing rules. The winner being who does better in their 'away' rules.

E.g. if Fedor survived to a decision in boxing but subbed Klitch in MMA, he would be considered the winner

If Klitch survived to a decision in MMA rules but KOed Fedor in boxing rules, hw would be considered the winner
