If anyone is surprised by this then they need a lesson in real life.

Of course he'd accept a mega money fight. I think that's what it'd take though and I'm struggling to see who out there could offer it.

Lets see, Taylor, Dawson, and Pavlik are all under the 40 year age requirement for Joe, so it will either be Raul Marquez, Castillejo, or Tarver for the Grandpa Killer. Taylor would murder him! ! !

As soon as Calzaghe moved up to 175, the Pavlik Theory went out the window for me. Since Pavlik got beat, we see that his "destiny is at middleweight" for now. Maybe in a couple of years, when he is older, he can move up in weight. To move up to 175 to fight Calzaghe just won't work. To fight him at 168 doesn't make since either and I don't think Joe will come down to 160.

In fantasy, the bout would be great. Pavlik needs fights at 160. And he doesn't need to get right in the ring with one of the best right away.

Sounds like practically every fighter we've ever seen.

Calzaghe Would Kill Dawson No Questions

Who is Dawson really ? he beat some old timers himself and thats about all. Sure he beat the most boring and terrible tarver (who won against won guy he bases his supremacy on ha ha)
Calzaghe has the will to win and would easily beat plain ol dawson

Common Calzaghe, fight Winky Wright. It's not the biggest payday but it's another past his prime fighter in his late 30's with a great resume for ya.

It's a guy that covers up alot, plenty of workrate for you do put on him.
