Yes it benefits him, but not us fans. Why would u want to see Floyd rematch a guy that he already convincingly beat? Wouldnt u rather see him take on a much more credible threat? Wait, look who im asking!...LOL. Of course not!

Hello all, this is my first post!!! I am delighted that PBF has come back, not that i expected him to stay out of the sport for too long! Im hoping for a Hatton-Maywether rematch, it would be a box office smash hit and i think, while Hatton wouldn't beat him, he would be much more competitive than the first fight. All in all, i cannot wait to see his 'return'! (as if he ever left?)

To that I would say look at manny's last few PPV. Sure he is a cult icon, but he doesnt bring in big PPV revenue. Anybody that purchases this upcoming fight are only doing so to see how he fares against the much bigger Oscar, not because people believe it's competative. I mean the 24/7 have been a snoozfest in my book.

You put Mayweather Sr and Hatton in one corner and Mayweather Jr and Uncle Roger in another corner, put the 24/7 camera's in the mix, and thats pure COMEDY. Can you imagine how much profanity would be used?

I mean honestly, who would want to see Mayweather/De La Hoya 2? I sure as hell dont want to see it. And I certainly dont want to see Oscar/Hatton UNLESS it's at 140. Hatton shouldnt fight ANYWHERE north of 140.

Why not at 140, people make excuses for Hatton about weight. Make fight at 140 at England with Engllish ref. Shut up all those doubters

...and why should they? Floyd's STILL retired!
His dad doesn't even talk to his son. Sr's just making assumptions right now, and reporters are quick to jump on what they wanna hear.

Not to say Floyd isn't ever coming back, but common, this is no official announcement. Sr's simply saying there's no one needs to push Jr.

I agree 100%. A Hatton rematch would SHATTER Oscar/Mayweather. I sincerely believe that. No Hatton fan wants to see Ricky fight Oscar rather than rematch Floyd. Oscar cant command the purse of a fight in England against Ricky. That might be the one fight where Oscar either offers parity or takes short money in the fight. But Floyd can for the rematch. And we all know he likes money. Ricky wants Floyd more than Oscar. And for the right price, I am sure he can lure Floyd out for a fight. And Floyd Sr can convince Ricky that he can give him what it takes to beat Floyd Jr.

I just dont see Mayweather fighting ANYBODY besides Hatton.

As far as Margarito and Cotto is concerned, a fight with Margarito is NEVER EVER gonna happen. And Cotto lost any chance of getting that fight when he lost to Rito. And add in the factor Floyd wants nothing to do with Arum, you can practicaly gaurantee it isnt gonna happen. Floyd will say "Margarito has unfinished business with Paul Williams" in a heartbeat. And you can believe that will be Al Haymons way of thumbing his nose at Arum.
