Yes but the grandiose, self-righteous tone of the presentation of the premise of the post betrays the thread starter. If you despise the content of a media event, why would you call yet more attention to it?

I'm looking forward to this fight and i can afford to buy it comfortably so that's not an issue.

If Bhop can school Pavlik like he did then Pac can beat DLH

It's age, speed and stamina v power, size and experience

        very intriguing matchup

NO ONE is Forcing anyone to watch this fight. No one is forcing anyone to even acknowledge this fight

If you think its a farce, don't watch and do your usual sat night thing. Strip gay bingo or whatever most of you do.

I can say why I'm ordering the fight tomorrow. It is a freak show, so it becomes unpredictable. We don't know what 147 will do to either of these guys, so there is so much uncertainty. To say that you definitively believe that either DLH or Pac will win is a little rediculous I think. Maybe DLH is completely drained from getting down to 147. Maybe Pac won't have his power and speed. There are many unknowns, which makes for an interesting matchup. I don't think we are gullible, I just think we're boxing fans.

y2fly, you are a ****ing asstard

the fact is, DLH has fought in welterweight before, and dropping ONE weight class is not a lot. Manny fights at 147 on fight night. He fought at 147 against Diaz and against Marquez (part II).

And seriously... 3 inches and everyone is making a big fuss about it? None of you have obviously boxed in real life before. Otherwise, you would realize that this is not a big deal. There are plenty ways to win when you are the shorter man.

If you don't want to watch it, don't buy it. Simple as that. I for one am buying it because I think it will be a great match.

I understand where the thread starter is coming from. Basically what he's saying is, those of you guys who constantly complain about the lack of quality fights where the top guys take on the top guys, only to turn around and support a farce of a fight like this, dont complain in the future, because as long as they can dupe you fans into buying into this crap, boxing will continue to diminish as a sport.

Dont cry about b.s fights, when you guys are the reason they continue to air business matches instead of actual boxing matches.

What does that have to do with Oscar coming in around 160 come fight time?
