Well then i say he was both ran out and couldn't make weight.

Valero and Soto both were to move up in weight to fight Pacquiao, advantage Pacquiao. And Valero, Guzman all moved up to get at Pacquiao.

We all know that this fight is a travesty to boxing. De La Hoya could easily fight at Middleweight right now and is fighting a guy half his size. There are guys his size he could be fighting instead of a 115 pound blown up lightweight....

It shows how weak-minded people are and how weak boxing is in general. And I blame each and every one of you!

This was our opportunity in history to make a statement to that punk De La Hoya and the "Powers that be" that emphatically believes that you can feed anything (even ****) to a hungry person and they'll eat it!

How are any tickets selling for this fight? And I see so many boxing fans hyped about this fight. And even picking Manny Pac to win!
      Are you freaking serious?

I am extremely disappointed! if this fight would've been boycotted like it should be think about the statement that would've made.

Instead all you gullible girls are buying into this crap....hook, line and sinker.

All you people who have cried and complained about boxing (how great fights are no longer made, boxing is not the same, how UFC and MMA is taking over, etc....).

Now you have yourself to blame!
Stop being a drama queen and don't watch it...period.

It's a done deal whether we like it or not and it turns out to be what you speculate, then too bad. However, if they give us one heck of a great fight, then it's your loss.

i guess Cotto got 'run out' at 140 too then right? because he couldnt make weight and still had hatton and other fighters that wanted a piece of him...great insight once again ferocity

Do you realise dlh can jab 15 times a round and beat manny? Did you grow with smaller brothers or sisters and pissing them off and they would come charging at you full speed hella mad and all you had to do was stick your hand out to stop them. Well it's kinda the same thing here. have you seen the manny sparring pics? Seeing his punches going up at such a high angle trying to reach his sparring partner is not only dangerous for him but sad to think people actually think many has a shot.

Ain't that the guy he knocked down?

I can't believe anyone would find it easy in fending off Pacquiao like they were pushing little toddlers around. I know this is a significant size mismatch but some of you are way underrating Pac in this one.

dude, shut the **** up. dont even act like this is the first horrible matchup that boxing has ever seen. whether you like it or not, alot of people have drawn interest in this fight more because of the controversy, and not because they support the mismatch or whatever the hell you're crying about. and if anything, it's the events like these that bring in the big numbers for boxing ppv, so your attempt to draw people away from this fight is killing boxing more than this "mismatched fight" is. people are gonna watch it no matter what, and i can bet that you will too. boycott all you want, but it wont change ****.

Heres the irony of Freddy Roach, "We can make 130, we can make 126."

We knew Cotto was a starving boxer as we knew Morales was too.

Ok girls I give up. All these excuses about mismatches in history is all bulls*hit.

Manny Pac looks like De La Hoya's son when they stand next to each other.

There have been many skill mismatches before. But this is a complete and utter size mismatch.

It would be like Paul Williams fighting Wladamir Klitschko!

Show me anytime in history where a guy who fought at 115 pounds (Flyweight) has moved up to fight a guy who has fought fighters as big as 175 pounds (Light-Heavyweight)?

Show me that and I'll shut up!

It has NEVER happened because when real boxing fans existed, they would not have let it happen.
But now that we have Kool-Aid drinking girls as boxing fans

Look at the match-ups we get!

Great post!...im boycotting the fight...im not paying $50.00 bucks to watch this as much as I like both guys.
I have lost respect for ODLH over this...even if he makes 140 which is great and all but even so Pac would have to pile on 10-15 pounds minimum...he all ready looks like a fat school kid...and look at the height difference...its Cotto VS Margarito all over again.
