did Oscar use the wrong game plan against Floyd i heard him say on 24/7 that Freddie Roach sent him in with the wrong game plan and not to long after the fight im sure i read somewhere that he said he should of put more pressure on Floyd


i dont get what he is saying at all am i the only one who thinks if he had put more pressure on he would of got hit more and got tired quicker i think he had the perfect game plan but he stopped using the jab and got tired as ALWAYS

Unless Oscar is blaming Roach for him not throwing jabs after 6 rounds then I dont see what he is saying.

I think Oscar made that fight as close as it could possibly be, to be honest.
If he had put more pressure on he would have gotten hit more and Floyd would have opened up.
It was because he was more cautious against a defensive fighter that the rounds appeared close.

i was curious aswell i think he and Mayweather think Oscar cant pull the trigger anymore and when you watch the Forbes fight its hard to argue against it imo

sometimes when fighters get old they see the opening but their reflexes are too slow to take advantage maybe this is what Roach sees in Oscar

Floyd had a lot to do with Oscar abandoning his game plan by the way. Those subtle feints and footwork etc

I remember hearing Roach telling DLH to double up his jab in between rounds on more than a few occasions, and Oscar barely doing it at all. One of them definitely had the wrong gameplan, in that respect.

I should note that when Oscar used his jab he actually looked competitive.
