Its all about the $'s at the end of the day. I honestly can't see Hatton trying to outbid DLH though, but as someone said earlier I don't think DLH will be too fussed to bid for his services anyway.

Hatton looked way sharper than he has in years,... and had no trouble hitting the moving target,.. without initiating any clinches and punching very well on the inside...Mayweather must have done something right,.. but he's just like his son when it comes to money.

the way he story was dropped across many boxing sites, it almost has the ring of an extortion attempt,.. especially after hearing the quote,... "the DHL fight is winnable if I train him",.. I think Floyd is a good trainer but Hatton doesn't have to be dependant on him. ...his eyes have been opened.

with all the rediculousness that's going on with Hatton/De La Hoya talks in the first place

Floyd SR should train them BOTH, lol

            imagine that 24/7

and come fight night, there'll be a coin flip

winner of the coin flip can pick if they want Floyd Sr in the corner for the first 6 rounds .. or last 6 rounds

no way, money will decide who wouldve thought, mayweather going after money? weird? lol no way hatton out bids odlh, that is depending on how dlh does on the 6th, if he shows improvment i can see him using nacho to for the hatton fight.

                  Hatton&Floyd Sr.

I think that Floyd did make subtle differences in the Hatton performance. For only having trained Ricky for 7 weeks there were some noticeable differences. Hatton didn't always bull in, even with a weaker puncher. He picked his shots better and held very little. Hatton acually used a jab a little to throw Paulie off the left hook lead trail, and it worked. All in all, i think Floyd Sr. made a posotive result and was worth whatever Hatton agreed to pay him. He has Billy Grahms relentlessness to revert back to when in the trenches and he will now have some of the defensive tools that he has been long-lacking , provided by Floyd. No way Hatton gets worse now, he can only get better with adding new elements to his game. Afterall, Rome was not built in a day and certainly not in 7 weeks either.

yea. lol at mayweather after the malinaggi fight saying that he thought oscar was just "too big" and hatton should stay at jr. welter.........

His biggest credential is being the father of Mayweather Jr., and it was Roger who mostly trained Jr. anyway.
when hatton reverted to "his old self" he was eatin jabs......hard to really gauge mayweather's success w/ him off this kinda fight tho......malinaggi did nothing, he fought scared.........caught hatton wit some **** that stunned him though.....idk, the only way to tell whether mayweather makes a difference will be in a fight w/ someone who actually fights back......

yea, this is just more proof, half these *****s talk out they asses......a couple days ago, oscar was just too big for hatton, now you got mayweather telling hatton he "has a chance"............gtfoh

if paulie stunned hatton a couple times w/ his little ****, oscar beats the hell outta hatton. mayweather is just looking to capitalize cuz he knows this will be a huge moneymaker, especially if it takes place in england.......

                      hatton

hatton v de la hoya would be another financial windfall for both fighters. however, hatton wouldn't beat oscar. hatton's style is made to order for oscar: a straight ahead fighter. floyd mayweather already laid the blueprint for beating hatton; box him and catch him coming in. hatton has to learn to come in more at angles, mayweather is teaching him that, but he still is caught a lot coming in..
