Mayweather claims that Arum shortchanged him on matches against Arturo Gatti in 2005 and Zab Judah in 2006. In the lawsuit, Mayweather said he was due 85% of Top Rank's revenue from the Gatti fight and 80% from the Judah fight. He claims Arum has refused to turn over the records for accounting. Mayweather has asked for the statutory minimum of $10,000 on each of the five counts, but would be in line for millions in punitive damages on a breach of contract claim.
This could get ugly before it's over, making it the heavyweight slugfest of the year.
In a strange twist, Arum admits that he owes Mayweather money and said he has told Mayweather's reps why he isn't giving it to him.
"There's no question we owe him some money," Arum said.

No, he wasn't.. when Mayweather hit 147 his 1st fight there was against a FAR FAR past his prime fighter and his name is Sharmba Mitchell. he could have chose to face Quintana or Clottey or someone who could have presented more of a threat to him, no instead he picks the feather fist, past his prime fighter. THEN he faces Judah AFTER Judah lost to Baldomir with NO reason at all to face Zab, no incentive because the guy had just lost his belts but he fights him anyway and Zab gives him a good ass run. afterward he goes and faces Baldomir, a champion solely because Zab is a **** head when he wants to be and that night was one of them, beats him then goes for a fighter who was 5-7 years out of his prime, hadn't been ranked in the top 10 pound for pound list in like 5 years and had lost more than he won in his last 5 leading up to the fight just because of his name.

No, I meant show me some evidence that this is the reason he Did'nt fight Marg. Mayweather's claims are'nt evidence of anything.
You're telling me to do research and then parroting Mayweather's words as if they are evidence of anything, and then citing a source that simply reports what Mayweather said.
So I ask again. Do you have any evidence for what you're saying, other than Mayweather's claims which do not count as evidence?
All you've done is apologised for Mayweather, inventing reasons and excuses that Mayweather himself has never used.
The fact is, the only reason Mayweather has ever given for not fighting Cotto is that Cotto does'nt have enough fans.
Another fact is that Mayweather has never given a single reason for not fighting Margarito.
