I would NOT do business with someone who owns me thousands of dollars and yet does not deny the fact. If Mayweather did agree to fight Margarito then that would fuck up his court case. The fact is, the only reason Mayweather has ever given for not fighting Cotto is that Cotto does'nt have enough fans.
Another fact is that Mayweather has never given a single reason for not fighting Margarito.

YES I would, you know why? because business is business we can sort it out later as men. it's the fans who give Floyd, Arum, Cotto, HBO, SHO, ESPN, PPV, Margarito, Oscar, Hatton and anyone else you can name the money they make, it's our viewing and purchasing of fights and tickets that make these people successful so if fans want to see this fight me as a warrior I'm going to face him because this is what my fans want, the individuals who put the food on my table requested this from me so it's only right I deliver, right? obviously NOT in Mayweather's eyes..
if you got a problem with Bob Arum regarding money take it to court, sue him for millions more than what he actually owes you, do what you gotta do but don't let that be the reason why you wont go threw with a fight with Cotto because Cotto is his own man and you are your own, you make your own money as a promoter for your own fights so even if Arum eats off Cotto's purse Floyd should be well compensated.. thing is when you Floyd Mayweather Jr, the self proclaimed best pound for pound fighter in the world there is NO amount of money that would be worth the live TV beating Cotto was going to give him, ain't no price for that, he should have just pulled a Lennox and asked for 100 million.Comment

Funny thing is, he turned down a Margarito fight because of his lack of fanbase, to turn around and fight Baldomir! LOL. As if he has a major fanbase. Please dont reply with "well Baldo was the lineal champ"
Had Marg been lineal champ, Floyd would've still used the excuse that nobody knew who he was, therefore there is no need to fight him.
Answer this. If Floyd was soo concerned with fighting Baldo for the lineal title, why did he go chasing Spinks prior to taking the Baldomir fight?Comment

OK, Bob Arum owes Mayweather money. What exactly does this have to do with Margarito? That has to be the worst excuse for not wanting to fight someone that I've ever heard. Tell him to get another promoter.
Mayweather never once used the fact that Bob Arum owes him money as an excuse for not fighting Margarito. Only you did.
