Berto has a title since Mayweather vacated it. Mayweather ducking Berto Cintron Clottey and Carlos Q and Williams
I did'nt say he ducked any of those other guys I'm asking why he never fought any of them. You said he ducked them, not me.

I asked what strange excuse you would offer for Floyd not fighting any of those guys and you gave them immediately.

Amazingly, when Floyd fails to fight someone, it's always someone elses fault, never Mayweather's. That is called apologetics.

You are inventing very strange and exotic reasons for the fact he did'nt fight any good welters. Excuses Floyd has never used.

WOW that makes a lot of sense offer him a fight when he is green still and in a division where he had to kill himself to make weight, had no name or reputation just yet and was just overall a lesser pugilist than what he is at Welterweight and then turn him down because "he doesn't generate enough revenue" AFTER he rises up and demonstrates what he's all about, builds a huge fan base and reaching star status suddenly he doesn't generate money?

so let me get this right.. he offers Cotto a fight back when Cotto didn't even have a potion of the name that he does today, a time where no one knew him, you was willing to face him then when he would have made you NO money yet you wont face him when his stock is multiplied X's100, when he came up in weight to a weight where he is more comfortable at, more dangerous and powerful and you telling me Floyd said MONEY was the reason he didn't face Cotto?? you was willing to face him while he was a LESSER known name in a harder weight for him to make for basically circus peanuts but when he moves up, gets to where he needs to be suddenly he don't make enough money? sounds like he dodged him then, straight up and down he dodged him..

By the time Mayweather was at 147 he was thinking about retirement. Called it after Baldomir fight and Oscar and even Hatton. Topped of his retirement funds

Mayweather rejected an offer of US$8 million to fight Antonio Margarito and split with promoter Bob Arum for the possibility of losing to the tijuana tornado Antonio Margarito.[29] De la Hoya, however, postponed his decision until 2007, leaving Mayweather in the awkward position of choosing his next opponent, while deflecting accusations that he had ducked Margarito.[30] Mayweather considered moving up in weight again to fight junior middleweight champion Cory Spinks, but because of negative publicity and Spinks' impending mandatory defense of his title, he finally decided to face WBC and The Ring welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir on November 4, 2006 in Las Vegas.[31]

Mayweather was suing Arum for unpaid money from Judah fight when offer was made.
