      Hatton wasnt wobbled at all.
Fcuk me at times i do wonder if we do really watch the same fights at all or if theres
      different versions for different countrys...

Hatton beat that boy up bad..
      I like Paulie though.
Like him even more in defeat as well his a stand up guy took the loss well

Ricky just dominated Paulie, the end. Paulie landed a few good jabs, TWO good straight rights and ONE good uppercut. Ricky landed good punches through the entire spectrum of punches. It was mentioned that Ricky wobbled Paulie with a straight left. Well.....if Ricky is a right handed fighter, he wobbled him with a JAB. Floyd Sr has helped Ricky and that is with one training camp. THe next fight should be even better and so on and so forth until FLoyd Jr gets pissed that his Dad is turning some white boy into a real class fighter. Then Floyd comes out of retirement and we will see what happens.

But at least once last night Paulie caught him and wobbled Hatton, yet Paulie took everything thrown at him without going down. If Hatton has some serious weaknesses it's his defense and chin. Maybe his defense will get better but you can't repair a shaky chin.
Surely this is an alt, right?

Yup; short left hooks mostly. Tszyu was the first fighter I saw shake Hatton with the left hook. Hatton said there was a right hand in there that hurt him, but he acted as if it didn't...which might mean it was the one where he grinned and stood up to say "You can't hurt me." After that punch, if I remember, Hatton started to hold for a bit...and then went back to fighting.

I've always thought that since Tszyu said he felt "Flat," that's an indication his power wouldn't be a full power. When you feel weak, your punches are weak. It's like trying to lift weights on an "off" day or when you are dehydrated.

Hatton also credited taking Tszyu's shots by smothering Kostya's shots, preventing Tszyu from extending his arms which is the source of his power, and rolling with the punches as much as he could. Although, he did say Tszyu caught him a few times.

We also have to remember since Tszyu had been inactive, trying to make weight and age, after 5 or 6 rounds, like Hatton was hoping for, Tszyu wouldn't have much left in those punches.
Tszyu was starting to breathe hard from the mid point on.

It also seemed Ricky was seeing the majority of what Kostya was throwing, which is a big plus. Tszyu isn't exactly fast anymore.

With Floyd, I don't think he was seeing those punches coming.

This is something odd, Tszyu was not exactly inactive. His last fight before Hatton was 7 months earlier in which a completely inactive Tszyu (who hadn't fought in nearly two years) stopped a guy ranked in the top five at the weight in three rounds. Tszyu was regarded as a top guy pound for pound, so it's somewhat infuriating to have to read people STILL rubbishing it like it was nothing.

As for Kostya's stamina, Ricky used his advantages by staying safe early on and using his workrate to win down the stretch. If you can somehow discredit a win because one fighter used his advantages then how can anyone have a creditable win ever? Hey Sugar Ray Robinson only beat guys because he was more skilled, that's alomst like cheating!
