    the mayweather gatti stoppage was the right thing to do. gatti could've left that fight a shell of himself had it went on.

      the gatti floyd fight went on too long gatti took way too many clean shots to the head. it should have been stopped in the fourth round

          I think he did it because he was worried about the health of his fighter.

            I agree with the stoppage.HATTON hurt PAULIE numerous times and the fight was a no win situation for PAULIE unless he scored a knockout. That WASN'T GOING TO HAPPEN?So why take 2 more rounds of punishment in a fight you can't win.GOOD STOPPAGE IN MY opinion

              Buddy McGirt threw the towel a couple of times what i found out now;
              He did it for
              Paulie Malignaggi against R.Hatton,
              Lamon Brewster against Wladimir Klitschko,
              Arturo Gatti against Baldomir,
              Arturo Gatti again but now against Floyd Mayweather Jr,

              He better train his boxer or try to have a word against these mis matches, but i guess the promoters have the last word and $....

                It was too soon, and Lou DiBella acted like a prick in interview saying he would have stopped the ****ing fight. What an arsehole, undermining his fighter and his interview like that. Nevr liked either of them. McGirt and DiBella are both ****e. They should ahve let the kid go out on his shield

                  England won 4-2 not 3-2, France got lucky because Ronaldo took a fit

                  and I agree, terrible decision by Malignaggi. His big selling point was that he'd never been stopped and only beaten by Hatton and Cotto.
