He, with almost 95% certainty, couldn't win the fight, he wasn't listening to his corner for the ENTIRE fight, he was jabbing, getting hit and holding all night - I understand why Buddy did it, not that I agree with it though. He most likely would of finished on his feet but with that kind of performance, he didn't deserve too. WAR HATTON!

Seemed awful weird to throw in the towel that late in the fight. Reminded me of the second Wlad/Brewster fight where he told Lamon "C'mon, you better show me something or I'm going to stop it." Paulie's face looked pretty ****** up after the fight, but it certainly wasn't anywhere near as bad as in the Cotto fight, and there was only two rounds left to go.Comment

Paulie was giving a decent effort until that last round I thoughtComment

McGirt is gaining a reputation for being a towel-throwing-happy trainer...hehe.
I'd have second thoughts hooking up with him if I was a pro desperate for a win.Comment

Absolutely correct. When a fight is stopped prematurely, all boxing fans get that uneasy feeling while watching it take place. I was praying Malignaggi would get KO'd, but he didn't deserve that from his corner. Terrible job by McGirt.Comment
