The Lacierva fight was Cab's worst fight in years. It's a shame that's all some have seen of him.
That was a dirty, foul filled weird fight and atypical.

What happened here? I've never seen it, but I think Caballero would give him trouble based on what I saw last night. Vazquez had problems with Larios' height and jab when Larios' really did a total 180 and outboxed him in the second round of their III fight after Vazquez knocked him down in the first.

I think the height would bother Vazquez, but I haven't seen this fight. Care to fill me in?

The link above is an account of the fight. Basically for the early part of the fight, Caballero gave up his height and elected to trade inside. Lots of fouls and it was an ugly awkward affair. Caballero won by 3 points on a couple of scorecards but didn't really get it going until the second half of the fight.

Izzy's trademark is his inside work and if Caballero obliges him instead of using his reach and weird long punches thrown at awkward angles, it could spell trouble for him.
