Celestino Caballero Crushes Steve Molitor, Unifies Titles

Thing is both those guys are good inside fighters and when Caballero is forced to fight on the inside, he gives up his height.i want to see lopez vs caballero.....that will be a huge test....especially if caballero fights in and out, like he did against ponce de leon.....i think caballero is the one guy that has more chance of lasting long against lopez......i mean vazquez and marquez are more proven than lopez and would probably be favorites, but theres a bigger chance of those guys getting bombed out quickly because of their styles-chins......
He doesn't clinch correctly and falls in and he's just as likely to go to war on the inside as from a distance although his major advantage becomes a disadvantage then.
It also depends on how much fight Izzy and Raf left in the ring beating the hell out of each other three times.
JuanMa seems to be the one to go right now, but I think HBO wants to build JuanMa up more before that kind of thing happens.Comment

According to the papers Caballero is 5'11 tall. If Im not mistaken Margarito is also 5'11 tall also.
I cant believe Caballero hasnt thought of going up in weight. I think Juanma should stop calling out Vazquez and go for Caballero.Comment

I hate to say it, but I saw this one coming. Stevie has had trouble with (and been rocked by) guys who had a lot less power and physical tools than Caballero. This one had "oh sh$%" written all over it the day they signed the deal.
Bottomline is Molitor is a classy, well schooled A fighter, but he doesn't have the chin, power or speed to deal with the elites of the division. Too bad.Comment

If he didn't square up. stayed in the pocket, stayed off the ropes he could have easily outpointed this guy. He is no champion thats for sure.Comment

That's what I felt like. First time seeing him, and when you make Caballero look like a good defensive fighter you have a problem.Comment
