He just didn't know what to do. Did he prepare for the fight by sparring midgets or what? There were a few occasions where he turned Caballero and just looked relieved to get a break rather than attempting a counter attack...

I love Caballero. His game is so off the wall it's crazy, but he somehow gets it done.

But still, as ugly as Caballero's game can be, Margarito makes that guy look like Pernell Whitaker.

Maybe it's just me, but I think Caballero could give Vazquez major ass problems. His height and reach advantage is incredible and Vazquez struggles with that type of fighter. The second round of the Larios III fight Larios did a complete 180 and outboxed him. Gonzalez's height gave him problems too, didn't it.

I've still never seen Vazquez vs Gonzalez...

It sucks because there's probably no way Marquez or Vazquez will fight him. You gotta give Caballero a great chance in both of those fights if his chin holds up

Caballero vs. JuanMa would be awesome. slugfest, although it wouldnt last long. Im surprised he took out Moliter like he did.

Why are you surprised? Did you think Molitor was a good fighter or something? I'd never seen him myself, but 28-0 with no names on your resume doesn't mean much. Plus he has like 10 knockouts. I didn't expect much out of him since this is boxing and all and guys that hide in countries outside of the U.S. generally suck

I think Caballero didnt looked that great, it just that Molitor didnt do anything. Not taking anything away from him, but the couple of left hands that Molitor threw landed flush.. and against Juanma thats deadly. I think caballero's slow looping shots are tailor made for Juanma and vazquez. Vazquez is a great inside fighter and caballero look lost when anybody fight him on the inside, he needs leverage to land his punches hard. I think Vazquez constant pressure and good chin will carry him to a UD against Caballero. And Juanma is worst for caballero, if Juanma gets on the inside and land that straight left-right hook combo, its lights out for caballero.

The burning question is if JuanMa can take a shot. He caught PDL cold but Cab has better arsenal of shots and doesn't load up on one shot. He does but not as often as people make it out to be.

The thing is, I have watched literally 4 rounds of JuanMa and that was in 3 fights.

I like that fight for Cab better than I like a Vasquez fight. JuanMa has a very pretty hook that can rock Caballero if he gets wild... but Cabaellero can hit anyone.

The difference is, I don't know how JuanMa acts if he gets dropped or rocked hard . I know what Vasquez can and will do.

Im no Caballero expert, but I think I remember him being in boxing for quite a while with some losses during his career. 30ish is a pretty old age for a 122lb fighter usually.

Ive never even seen Moliter fight, but I assumed he was decent because he has multiple defences of his title. then again, title defences in this day and age are jokes, so maybe I should have thought about that more. hell, winning a title nowadays means almost nothing since theres 4 of em.
