How was the rematch pointless when Cintron had a belt. If I recall, alot of people were saying Cintron was going to **** Margarito up cause he's more experienced now and all that other bull****. Lets not forget Cintron was also the favorite to win the rematch.

Ok, lets put it like this. Imagine you were Margarito, you won 2 straight times against TOP RANKED COMPETITION, you're possible opponent(Mosley) wants to fight you but wants half of what you want, after being 1-1 last 2 fights and barely beating someone he was SUPPOSE TO BEAT. Wouldn't you be like wtf he's crazy??

If I'm marg I take all that into consideration, but I also consider that I've lost to Pwill, that DLh will never fight me, the economy is bad, I had a tougher fight than usual against clottey, that mosley is a stepping stone to greater things, that I don't get paid if I don't fight, I got a family to support, a mexican ideal of courage and fortitude to live up to, and a nation to carry on my back. I look around and see that no one else is offering me $2 million for a fight and I swallow my pride and whup shane's ass to get the respect I deserve. I realize that the beating I gave to cotto is just the cusp of greater things to come, not the climax of my career. I remember all the ****-talking i used to do about how I was being avoided and feared and I want to justify it by whupping anyone that wants a whupping. If I don't back up my ****-talk, then I'm as much as a fraud as those that avoided me when it was convenient. I am margarito, the bad-ass of 147 lbs and anyone that wants a piece can come get some.
