Holding the world title for over a decade and beating the likes of Kessler, Eubank and Lacey created his legacy.

He only fought Hopkins and Jones to make his bank balance healthier, for him and little kids.

The man is over-rated, but he is still one of the best boxers of the last decade.

hey, listen.. im not taking anything away from Joe... being an undefeated champion for over a decade is pretty damn impressive.... it woulda just been that more impressive doing it against elite competition on and off throughout those 11 or so years

Man, I really don't know though. It seemed like Lamps and Merchant were pushing the hell out of a Calzaghe-Taylor fight when Taylor fought Lacy. I don't think they mentioned Dawson ONCE.

What about the interview after the Jones fight though? They seemed to big up Dawson as the next big thing. I think they only mentioned a Taylor-Calzaghe fight because they had invested so much in Taylor before his two losses to Pavlik. They need him to become a star again.

Hah, I'm a big Calzaghe fan and even though I was happy to see him win I did feel a little sad for Roy, because he is one of my all-time favourites, so I can understand!
